Plot Summary:
Years after Dr. Robert Neville’s apparent demise, the world is further ravaged by the virus that turned humanity into bloodthirsty mutants. But rumors of survivors and safe zones persist, sparking hope that a cure—or at least resistance—might still exist.

A new protagonist emerges, Dr. Elena Rhodes, a virologist and former military strategist, who believes Neville’s research holds the key to saving mankind.
