Plot Summary
After defeating Vector and exposing the truth about Zalem,Alita has become a symbol of rebellion in the scrapyard world of Iron City. But her heart still mourns the loss of Hugo, and her mind burns with one mission: reach Zalem and confront Nova.
Now a champion of the Motorball arena and a rising threat to the system, Alita is recruited by a rogue group of scientists and ex-cyber-soldiers who seek to bring Zalem crashing down. To do so, Alita must unlock her full Berserker potential—and face the ghosts of her past life, including former comrades turned enemies.
Above, in the floating city of Zalem, Dr. Nova is preparing for war. He unleashes a new breed of hunter-warriors, including Astaris, a deadly prototype from the same Urm program as Alita—designed to be her equal… or better.
As the skies burn and cities rise in revolt, Alita must choose between being a weapon of war, or a savior with a soul.
