✨ Sports Star Travis Rudolph Shares Lunch with Autistic Boy

A mother was deeply moved when a college football star chose to sit and share lunch with her autistic son, who had been eating alone at school.

Travis Rudolph, a wide receiver for Florida State, was visiting a Tallahassee school on Tuesday when he noticed young Bo Paske sitting by himself. Without hesitation, he joined him.

Bo’s mom, Leah Paske, posted a photo of the moment on Facebook, and it quickly went viral. She shared how that small act of kindness changed everything — since that day, Bo has never struggled to find someone to eat lunch with.

“This is one day I don’t have to worry about my sweet boy eating alone,” she wrote. “He sat across from a hero in so many eyes. Travis Rudolph, thank you so much. You made this mama so happy, and you’ve turned us into fans for life!”

She also reflected on her own difficult school memories and her fears for Bo, explaining how sometimes she’s grateful for his autism — because it shields him from noticing things like stares, fewer birthday invitations, or eating alone.

But that simple photo carried a huge impact. Local and national media picked it up, and Rudolph himself admitted he never expected such a reaction.

“We just had a great conversation,” Rudolph said. “He told me his name was Bo, and that he loved Florida State. I just wanted to say hello because I saw him eating alone. I didn’t even know anyone was taking a picture. I’m glad this brings awareness to helping others.”

For Leah, it was a gift she’ll never forget. Today, Bo is surrounded by classmates at lunch — and glowing with pride.

“It’s amazing. Everyone is so proud of me,” Bo said with a big smile. ❤️
