A Shoutout to Heroic Teenagers: Courage Under Pressure 🚍💥

In a moment of unimaginable urgency, two brave 16-year-olds, Toby Southall and Leon Lewis, displayed incredible courage that saved lives. While chatting with their college bus driver, they suddenly witnessed his arms drop from the wheel—he had become unresponsive. Realizing the danger, they wasted no time in springing into action.
Toby’s quick thinking led him to grab hold of the driver, ensuring his safety, while Leon acted swiftly to take control of the situation. Without hesitation, Leon slammed his foot on the brake, stopping the bus just inches from oncoming traffic, preventing a potentially catastrophic collision.Meanwhile, another passenger, Jack Bishop, called for an ambulance, and a fourth young person performed CPR, doing everything in their power to save the driver. Sadly, despite their heroic efforts, the driver passed away. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.Toby’s mum, Donna, expressed her pride in her son’s bravery: “The bravery was amazing, for them to take over like that and not stand there in shock. It’s really sad how something like that can happen so fast, and on a normal route home.”
These teenagers didn’t just witness an emergency—they stepped up, took control, and acted without hesitation. Their actions remind us that heroes come in all ages.
